Context
Sea Otter Europe is one of the leading international cycling industry festivals, held in Girona, combining trade fair, festival and sporting activities. The event has progressively added a professional dimension focused on networking and business development in cycling and cycle tourism.
Challenge
There was an opportunity to structure and strengthen a professional section within the event to connect destinations, companies, tour operators and other cycle tourism stakeholders — and to develop a dedicated cycle tourism space that could position the segment within the festival and generate real international collaboration and business opportunities.
Approach
Coordination of the SOE Connect professional section and organization of the cycle tourism area (Connect Cycle Tourism) within the Sea Otter Europe international festival and trade fair, aimed at generating business, networking and cycle tourism development opportunities.
