Context
ISPO Munich is one of the world's leading international sporting goods trade fairs, bringing together brands, distributors, media and industry professionals. In this context, sports tourism emerges as a strategic segment at the intersection of sport, tourism and business.
Challenge
There was an opportunity to create a dedicated space within ISPO to give visibility to sports tourism as a business segment, connect tourism destinations with the sports industry, and generate collaboration opportunities between brands, tour operators and other international ecosystem stakeholders.
Approach
Organization and development of the ISPO Sports Travel Hub, the section dedicated to sports tourism within the international ISPO Munich sporting goods fair, developed jointly with the sports sector company Sportmas, which manages the ISPO client, with Sports Tourism Consulting acting as the expert responsible for conceptualizing, designing and delivering the event.
