Analysis of the trail network and destination offer, potential demand analysis, and action plan for the development of a hiking and cycle tourism trail network in the Quindío mountain range, Coffee Cultural Landscape.
Context
The Chamber of Commerce of Armenia-Quindío, together with the Quindío Governorate and the Swiss government's cooperation agency SwissContact, are developing a tourism promotion project within the 'Colombia más competitiva' programme.
Challenge
There was a need to activate the mountain range area with ecotourism, nature, cultural and adventure tourism activities through a network of trails.
Approach
Participation in the TouristCheck consulting team as experts in sports and adventure tourism in the analysis of the trail network.
