Overview
Offer analysis and recommendations report, plus a conference-workshop with organizations and businesses in the area, for the creation of a cycle tourism product in the Sugamuxi province of Boyacá.
Context
As part of an initiative to design a tourism product in the Sugamuxi area of Boyacá (birthplace of important Colombian cyclists), recreational cycling was being considered, among other options, to leverage the territory's culture and richness.
Challenge
There was a need to raise awareness among local public and private stakeholders about the potential of cycle tourism, and to assess the development potential of a recreational cycling tourism product.
Approach
Participation in the Avia Consulting team as experts in sports and cycle tourism.
