Calella Sport City Lab Communication Plan

Design of the corporate communication strategy and implementation of the action plan.

Calella a municipality with a great tourism and sports tradition. It hosts important sports events such as the Calella-Barcelona Ironman competition and the Volta Ciclista Catalunya (Catalonia’s leading road cycling event), among others. It holds the Sports Tourism Destination seal of the Catalan Tourist Board and is a leading destination for training stays for swimmers, triathletes and cyclists, among other sportspeople

As part of the programme of Competitive Territorial Specialisation Plans”, Calella Town Council, together with Maresme Regional Council, Mataró City Council, the TecnoCampus Foundation and Eurecat, unveiled the Calella Sports City Lab project, aimed at promoting innovation and entrepreneurship through sport by creating a product testing centre and a co-working space specialised in the sports, health and physical activity sectors.

To prepare the communication plan and digital strategy of the project.

Results

Project carried out as part of a temporary joint venture with Playbrand, a digital strategy consultancy.
